For Whole Life Yoga teacher training graduates and current teacher training students, Whole Life Yoga is
offering continuing education series and workshops (additional students will
considered on a case-by-case basis).
Those who have already graduated and are certified by Yoga Alliance are eligible for Yoga Alliance continuing education units (CEU's). Each classroom hour counts as one Yoga Alliance "Contact CEU".
Registration can be done online (below), via phone or e-mail. Pre-payment is required to hold your space. You are eligible for a full refund if you cancel more than 48 hours in advance of the seminar start date. After that, you are not eligible for a refund or credit.
Each class has a minimum number of student registrations for the class to occur, otherwise the class will
be cancelled. This determination is made 5 days prior to the
start date, so don't wait to register! In the event of a cancellation,
payment will be refunded in full.
Chakras for Yoga Teachers
with Julie Miller
We often engage in the world through our chakras without even realizing we are doing so. When we say we have a gut feeling or bring our hands to hearts when we witness something sad or shocking we are instinctively reacting to energetic responses in the 3rd and 4th chakras.
This workshop will delve into how imbalances in the chakras can present on the physical, emotional, and energetic levels. We will look at how the koshas, yamas, and niyamas are related to the chakras, and will explore asanas and mudras that can be utilized to activate the qualities of specific chakras and bring about a greater sense of well-being and connection. The exploration will also include a discussion on how to weave a class theme based upon a chosen chakra, or to use that focus in designing a personal ritual.
Our afternoon together will include short practices exploring the unique components of each chakra, as well as a longer all levels practice incorporating meditation, pranayama, and guided visualization.
